Animelab.com: Content Advisor and Animelab.com

Anime is not just for children. There is also a lot of adult themed, suggestive and pornographic series, movies and shows typical labeled ecchi or hentai (literally translates to "pervert"). Cultural differences pose a big problem and in response we have labeled our website using the RSCAi content labeling system to help parents protect their children from accessing areas on our website which may contain links to or descriptive content about such shows.

If you are worried about you children gaining access to these areas then you can enable content advisor in Internet Explorer which will block such sections from view. Content advisor will also moderate any other website online which has RSCAi labels installed further protecting your children from accessing explicit material. Please follow the steps below to enable content advisor,

From the Internet Explorer menu bar (top of screen) select [Tools] > [Internet Options].
Click the [Content] tab at the top.

In the Content Advisor section at the top click [Enable], it may prompt you to set a password, do so now. Remember to choose a password you can remember and your child will not beable to guess.
Click [Settings]. This will bring up the control screen.

For each of the four content ranges (Language, Nudity, Sex and Violence) set the slider at the bottom to an appropreate level, the description will change as you move the slider telling you what would be show and what wouldn't.
When you are done here, click the [General] tab to set some default options.

Some sites on the internet containing explicit material are not rated, leaving "Users can see sites that have no rating" disabled will allow these sites to be accessed. But also normal sites which are not rated would be blocked also, severly hindering internet access for you. This is where the supervisor password will come into play if you leave the option below set. This is realy up to you if you want to enable these options or not.

Now you have enabled content advisor, adult sections of our website will be blocked from access on your computer. Normal sections will still be available.
